Founders

As one of the co-founders of CardioRenal Vision, Dr. Shah works to bring onsite specialty care to post-acute care providers. He is the Medical Director of inpatient dialysis units, with expertise in kidney disease and dialysis from his medical training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is also the founder and CEO of Renviva, a physician-owned and led dialysis provider.

Dr. Khan is a nephrologist practicing in Freeport and Rockford, Illinois. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, completed his residency at the University of Illinois and his fellowship at the University of Missouri. His interventional nephrology training aligns with RenViva's belief in comprehensive patient care. After serving as a medical director for several dialysis units, he co-founded CardioRenal Vision and RenViva.

Dr. Ahmed, founder of Cardiac Vision and co-founder of CardioRenal Vision, is a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in nuclear cardiology. He completed his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine and received a fellowship in General Cardiology at the University of Florida. A former competitive athlete, he enjoys recreational sports such as basketball, weightlifting, CrossFit, volleyball and surfing. He is fluent in Hindi and Spanish and has presented at multiple cardiology events.

Heather started with cardiac vision in 2014. Heather was in PA school when we first were introduced, and she was my first student that shadowed me throughout the hospital as well as nursing homes. She turned out to be an awesome student. Most importantly those days we would round till 8 pm at times and that didn't faze her at all. She asked if she could work under me as all the upcoming grads were looking for a job. The only thing I remember her saying was "I just want to be with a good mentor and good work environment" she said right now that's the most important priority. I couldn't pass that up so she was hired right away and just by being herself we became so busy. She wasn't just great at vitals and urine output, but she was super smart and later I found out she was the class valedictorian!! Heather started at least 25% of the SNF's we are in today. Like Kari, she drove across town and was just driven to be the best at what she does. Till this day, she says I just want to be in a good workplace and the rest will take care of itself.
